Washington boys lead District 2AA at 7-5, Bucks are second at 7-4. Lincoln is a tough one in there, the Patriots steamrolled Yankton down here.

Bucks can't overlook a struggling Mitchell team on Friday night. Bucks are good but it's too bad they play in a tough district.

Which would lead you to think Friday night vs. Mitchell could be a trap game for the Bucks. I don't see that happening, that's not in Chris Haynes' personality to allow that. He'll have those dudes...

Speaking of the Summit, a very good game there on Saturday: Rematch between Huron and Yankton. Bucks gave Huron a game up there in December, and now have Hejna back.

Lane Sawatzke, a kicker for the Bucks, has had some contact with SDSU, and will again later this week. Still think he'll be a walk-on up there.

Things broke right after we had last week's chat. J.J. is walking on at SDSU. It sounds like kicker Lane Sawatzke may do the same.
